How Storm collects, uses, retains and shares customer information, together with customer rights and privacy contact channels.

At Storm Interiors & Furniture, we are committed to protecting our customers’ information and handling it confidentially and professionally, in accordance with the laws applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and for the fulfilment of orders and services provided through our website:

interiordesign.com.sa

This policy explains how customer information is collected, used, retained and shared when using the website or requesting interior design, fit-out and finishing services, bespoke furniture or ready-made products.

1. Acceptance of this policy

By using the website, placing an order, completing a form or contacting Storm through its official channels, the customer acknowledges that they have read this policy and agree to the collection and use of their information as described here.

Customers who do not agree to this policy should not use the website or submit personal information through it.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect information necessary to provide a service or fulfil an order, including, for example:

Storm does not ask customers to send sensitive banking information or complete card numbers through WhatsApp or email. Customers are responsible for not sending sensitive information that has not been requested.

3. How information is used

Storm uses customer information for the following purposes:

Customer information is not used for purposes unrelated to the service, order or website, except with the customer’s consent or as permitted by applicable laws.

Storm takes reasonable and appropriate measures to protect customer information from unauthorised access, unlawful use, loss or unauthorised changes.

Depending on the facilities available and the system used, these measures include:

Nevertheless, the customer acknowledges that information transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed absolute security. Storm is not responsible for breaches, failures or leaks caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including breaches affecting an external platform, payment provider, shipping company, the customer’s device or account, or an insecure connection.

6. Retention of information

Storm retains customer information for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, such as fulfilling orders, providing services, issuing invoices, handling complaints, meeting legal requirements or preserving contractual and financial rights.

Certain information may be retained for longer where it relates to:

A request to delete information does not cover information that Storm is required or entitled to retain for legal, contractual or accounting purposes, to preserve rights or to document transactions.

7. Customer rights

Under applicable laws, customers may contact Storm to request:

Requests are reviewed within a reasonable period. We may verify the requester’s identity before taking action to protect customer information.

Storm may refuse or defer a deletion or amendment request if it affects an existing order, conflicts with a legal obligation, causes the loss of a financial or contractual right, or prevents Storm from documenting transactions or defending its rights.

8. Project information, photographs and drawings

Because Storm provides interior design, implementation and bespoke furniture services, customers may send photographs, drawings, measurements or other information about a space or project.

This information is used only to assess the enquiry, prepare a quotation, produce the design, carry out manufacturing or finishing, or provide the agreed service.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are entitled to share any photographs, drawings or documents they send to Storm, and that these do not contain information they do not wish to share.

Storm may use photographs, footage or details that do not identify the customer for internal documentation, quality improvement, implementation monitoring, training or evidence of work stages.

Any clearly promotional use of a private project is handled in accordance with the relevant approvals or agreements.

Storm is also not responsible for failures, breaches or leaks caused by independent external platforms or services, the customer’s device or connection, or the customer sharing their information with another party.

14. External links and platforms

The website and communication channels may contain links to, or integrations with, external platforms such as payment providers, shipping companies, WhatsApp, social media platforms, and analytics or advertising tools.
