Storm Interiors & Furniture provides specialist services and products, including interior design, fit-out, finishing and space preparation, bespoke furniture design and manufacture, and ready-made products displayed in the store.
Our work involves customisation, reservations, studies, approvals, procurement, manufacturing and scheduling design and implementation teams. All orders therefore follow a clear, strict policy that protects customers' rights and Storm's operational and financial commitments.
This policy applies to all orders placed through our online store:
interiordesign.com.sa
It covers:
- Residential, office and commercial interior design services.
- Fit-out, finishing, space preparation and turnkey services.
- Made-to-order furniture and furnishings.
- Ready-made products displayed in the store.
1. General provisions
By completing payment through Storm's store or any approved payment method, the customer acknowledges reading and accepting this policy. An order may immediately require team allocation, reserving work time, opening a project file, studying requirements, preparing or ordering materials, manufacturing, packing, shipping or scheduling implementation.
Payment constitutes the customer's express consent to begin the service or prepare the order, according to its type. It is not merely a cancellable reservation.
As a general rule, all Storm service and product orders become final after payment. Cancellation, returns and refunds are accepted only where required by mandatory law or where a proven error by Storm cannot be remedied through repair, replacement or an appropriate technical solution.
Storm does not accept cancellation, return or refund requests arising from:
- The customer changing their mind after payment.
- No longer needing the service or product after ordering.
- Delays by the customer in submitting information or approvals.
- Changes in personal taste after approval or after work begins.
- The customer choosing an unsuitable size, colour or material.
- Failure to read service or product details before payment.
- Personal or financial circumstances unrelated to an error by Storm.
- Choosing another service provider after payment.
- Refusing to continue the order for a reason not attributable to Storm.
This is subject to any mandatory customer rights under the laws applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. Interior design services
Storm's interior design services include residential interiors, villas and apartments, offices and workplaces, and commercial interiors for stores, showrooms, clinics, cafés and other commercial projects. They may include concepts, mood boards, visualisations, drawings, material lists and other deliverables within the agreed service scope.
No cancellation after payment
Once payment for an interior design service is completed, the order is final and cannot be cancelled or refunded at the customer's request.
Payment constitutes express consent for Storm to begin the service procedures, even if final deliverables have not yet been provided.
Service procedures after payment may include one or more of the following:
- Opening an internal project file.
- Allocating a designer or team.
- Reviewing the customer's requirements.
- Studying the space or drawings.
- Arranging an initial meeting or discussion.
- Preparing an internal work schedule.
- Researching concepts, materials or design references.
- Allocating operational and administrative time to the project.
Receipt of final designs is not a prerequisite for the service to become non-refundable. The service begins when the team is prepared, the project file opened and internal resources allocated.
No refund after the service begins
The customer is not entitled to a full or partial refund after payment, whether the service has been delivered fully or partly, or the customer has delayed submitting requirements or approvals.
This includes:
- Failing to attend a meeting.
- Delaying submission of drawings or measurements.
- Changing one's mind after payment.
- Disliking a design direction presented within the agreed scope.
- Requesting that the project stop for a reason not attributable to Storm.
- Seeking to change the service scope after work begins.
- Failing to engage with the design team during the service period.
Revisions do not constitute a return
Design feedback is handled within the revision allowance agreed in the quotation, service page or contract.
Feedback or revision requests do not create a right to cancellation or a refund.
Storm may charge additional fees before undertaking revisions outside the scope or beyond the agreed revision allowance.
3. Fit-out, finishing and space preparation
These services include implementation, finishing, procurement, installation, site management, contractor coordination, space preparation and turnkey handover, as set out in the approved quotation or contract.
Orders are final after payment
After any payment relating to fit-out, finishing or space preparation, including an advance, deposit, procurement, scheduling or implementation payment, the customer cannot request cancellation or a refund.
Payment may immediately create operational and financial commitments, including:
- Reserving the team.
- Scheduling contractors and technicians.
- Purchasing or reserving materials.
- Issuing purchase orders.
- Preparing working drawings.
- Reserving supply or installation appointments.
- Allocating a supervisor or project manager.
- Commitments to suppliers, contractors, a factory or other third parties.
- Foregoing other work opportunities to accommodate the customer's project.
Exceptional cancellation
Storm does not accept cancellation of fit-out, finishing or space preparation services after payment.
If Storm exceptionally agrees, solely through its own written decision, to review a cancellation request, that agreement does not necessarily mean any amount is refundable.
Before considering any remaining balance, all costs and commitments incurred by Storm are deducted, including but not limited to:
- The value of work actually performed.
- Materials purchased, ordered or reserved.
- Payments to suppliers, contractors and technicians.
- Labour, supervision and project management costs.
- Inspection, measurement and planning costs.
- Transport, storage, loading or shipping costs.
- Electronic payment or banking fees, where applicable.
- Any commitments arising from the customer's order.
- Administrative and operational expenses of at least 20% of the order or project value, unless the approved contract or quotation states otherwise.
No amount is refunded unless final settlement establishes an unused balance unconnected to any cost or commitment. This is determined from Storm's records, project stages and resulting commitments.
Projects stopped by the customer
Stopping a project after payment or after preparation or implementation begins does not create a right to a refund.
In such cases, Storm may:
- Pause work.
- Account for all existing work, costs and commitments.
- Request payment of any additional amounts due.
- Revise the schedule when the project resumes.
- Charge rescheduling or restart fees where necessary.
- Treat customer-caused delays as outside Storm's responsibility.
Technical concerns or implementation defects
For a technical concern or a clear, proven defect in work performed by Storm within the agreed scope, the primary remedy is a technical correction rather than a refund.
Storm reserves the right to select the appropriate action for the case, such as:
- Repair.
- Partial rework.
- Adjustment.
- Partial replacement of the affected item.
- An alternative technical solution.
The customer cannot demand a refund where the defect can be repaired, remedied or adjusted.
Differences in personal taste, changes of mind or requests for a different style after approval do not justify a return or refund when implementation follows the agreed specifications, approvals or scope.
4. Made-to-order furniture and furnishings
This category includes furniture and furnishings designed, manufactured, modified or prepared to customer requirements, including sofas, tables, beds, cabinets, TV units, desks, side tables, office or commercial furniture and made-to-measure furnishings. It includes any item whose dimensions, material, colour or design are specified by the customer.
No cancellation after payment
All made-to-order furniture and furnishing orders are final after payment.
After payment, the customer cannot request cancellation, a return or a refund, whether manufacturing has begun or the item remains at the preparation, purchasing, planning or approval stage.
Payment constitutes consent for Storm to begin order procedures, which may include:
- Reserving materials.
- Purchasing materials.
- Allocating factory time.
- Preparing drawings or working details.
- Coordinating with suppliers.
- Preparing a production schedule.
- Allocating a manufacturing or installation team.
- Reserving factory production capacity for the customer's order.
After dimensions or materials are approved
Once the customer approves dimensions, materials, colour, design or the item model, cancellation, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
The customer must review all details before approval, including:
- Dimensions.
- Colour.
- Fabric, leather or wood type.
- Finish specification.
- Opening direction or intended use.
- The item's position within the space.
- Whether its dimensions fit the lift, doors and corridors.
- Suitability for its intended location.
Customised products cannot be resold
Made-to-order furniture is produced for a particular customer's requirements and is not treated as ready-made stock suitable for resale.
Returns or exchanges are therefore not accepted because of:
- A change of mind.
- An unsuitable colour after manufacture.
- Unsuitable dimensions previously approved by the customer.
- Expectations not recorded in the specifications.
- An item not fitting a space that was not accurately disclosed.
- A request to change the design after the order begins.
- Slight colour variations caused by lighting, screens or the material's nature.
Manufacturing defects
A clear manufacturing defect in furniture made by Storm must be reported within 48 hours of receipt, with clear photographs or video of the issue.
Following inspection, the primary remedy is repair, correction or partial replacement, as determined by Storm and the nature of the case.
No refund is provided where the defect can be repaired, adjusted or technically remedied.
Natural material variations
Natural material variations are not defects and do not justify a return or exchange.
These include:
- Differences in wood grain.
- Variations in natural veneer shades.
- Slight fabric or leather colour variations due to lighting or screens.
- Natural texture differences.
- Natural variations in marble, stone or wood.
- Minor variations resulting from hand manufacture or specialist finishing.
5. Ready-made products
Ready-made products are items available to order without bespoke manufacturing, including furniture, accessories, décor, lighting, curtains, artwork and other home, office or commercial products displayed in the store.
Sales are final after payment
Once payment is completed and a product ordered, the sale is final.
Storm does not accept exchanges, returns or cancellation after payment because of:
- A change of mind.
- An unsuitable colour choice.
- An unsuitable size choice.
- No longer needing the product after ordering.
- A better offer from another store.
- Failure to read the product description.
- Expectations not stated on the product page.
- Delayed collection by the customer.
- Refusal of delivery without a valid legal reason.
Limited exceptions
Ready-made product exchange or return requests are accepted only in these limited circumstances:
- Delivery of a product different from the one ordered.
- A proven material defect before use.
- Clear damage during delivery reported immediately on receipt or within 24 hours.
- A mandatory legal entitlement that cannot be excluded.
In every case, the product must be unused, uninstalled and unmodified, in its original packaging with all accessories and the invoice, and must not have suffered damage after receipt.
No returns after use or installation
Storm does not accept returns or exchanges of ready-made products that have been used, installed, opened in a way that affects their condition, stripped of original packaging or labels, damaged while moved from the delivery location, modified, cleaned, washed or serviced by the customer or a third party.
Discounted and final-sale products
Discounted products, promotional items, last pieces, specially priced products and items identified as final sale cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a proven defect or error by Storm.
6. Exchanges
As a general rule, exchanges are unavailable after payment for services, products or made-to-order furniture.
An exchange is considered only where an error by Storm is established, such as the wrong product, material differing from the approved specification, a proven material manufacturing defect or clear damage before or during delivery.
Where an error is established, Storm selects the appropriate remedy. This may include repair, adjustment, replacement of the damaged part, replacement with an identical or suitable alternative product, customer credit for another order, or a refund only where repair or replacement is impossible and a refund is legally required.
The customer cannot choose a refund directly where repair, replacement or a technical remedy is possible.
7. Refunds
A refund is not automatically available after payment.
Amounts are refunded only in these limited circumstances:
- A proven error by Storm that cannot be remedied through repair, replacement or an appropriate technical solution.
- Storm being unable to provide the service or product solely for a reason attributable to Storm.
- A mandatory legal requirement to provide a refund.
- An unused balance unconnected to any cost or commitment, following Storm's written approval.
Where a refund is approved, all costs, fees and commitments incurred because of the order are deducted. These include electronic payment and banking fees, shipping and delivery, installation, inspection, design or studies, materials, manufacture, labour, suppliers and contractors, administration and operations, and any other order-related costs.
Any refund is processed after inspection and final financial settlement, within an estimated 7 to 14 working days. The time for it to appear in the customer's account may vary with the bank or payment provider.
8. Shipping, transport and installation
Shipping, transport, installation, dismantling, repacking and storage fees are non-refundable once the relevant work has been performed.
The customer bears additional costs caused by absence at delivery, an unprepared site, entrances, lifts or stairs too narrow for the product, address changes after preparation, redelivery, late collection, additional labour or lifting equipment, or requests for dismantling, moving or reinstallation.
Refusing receipt without a valid, proven reason does not entitle the customer to a refund. Storage, redelivery, transport and other costs arising from refusal or delay may be charged.
9. Inspection on receipt
The customer must inspect the product or completed work on receipt or handover.
Signing, receiving, using, installing or moving the product constitutes initial acceptance of its condition or the completed work unless a clear written concern is recorded at receipt.
Visible delivery damage must be reported immediately on receipt. Wrong products or missing accessories must be reported within 24 hours. Visible manufacturing defects must be reported within 48 hours, with clear photographs or video.
Reports after the stated deadline may not be accepted if it is impossible to establish that the issue existed before receipt, use or installation.
10. Schedules and delays
Storm works to meet the estimated dates stated in quotations, contracts and product or service pages.
Dates may be affected by operational or external factors, including delayed customer approvals, specification changes, material availability, suppliers, site conditions, additional customer requirements, late payments, shipping or circumstances outside Storm's control.
Delays caused by the customer, suppliers or circumstances outside Storm's control do not justify cancellation or a refund.
Where Storm causes a delay, the primary remedy is rescheduling, an alternative date or a solution suited to the order. This does not create an automatic refund unless the law requires otherwise.
11. Customer responsibility
The customer must review all order details before payment, including descriptions, dimensions, colours, materials, quantities, delivery address, access to the site, site requirements, scope, revision allowance, implementation or delivery periods, and service or product-specific conditions.
The customer bears costs and consequences arising from incorrect information or measurements, delayed approvals, changes of mind after payment, out-of-scope revisions, an unprepared site, failure to check suitability for the space or failure to read the policy before ordering.
12. Cases where cancellation, returns or exchanges are not accepted
Storm does not accept cancellation, returns or exchanges after payment for interior design, fit-out, finishing, space preparation, made-to-order furniture and furnishings, or ready-made products, except where mandatory law or a proven error by Storm applies.
Requests are also not accepted for changes of mind, incorrect customer measurements, slight screen or lighting colour variations, natural material variations, use or installation, damage after receipt, missing original packaging or accessories, late reporting, out-of-scope revisions, unjustified refusal to continue a project, or the customer's personal or financial circumstances after payment.
13. Warranty and remedies
Any product or service warranty is stated on the product page, quotation or contract.
A warranty does not create a right to a return or refund. It provides remedies under its terms, such as repair, maintenance, adjustment, replacement of a damaged part or an appropriate technical solution.
Warranty excludes misuse, poor storage, customer-arranged transport, moisture, heat or liquid damage, customer or third-party modifications, use inconsistent with the product's purpose, or damage caused by an unprepared site.
14. Relationship with contracts and quotations
Where a separate quotation, contract or written agreement exists for design, implementation or furniture manufacture, its conditions supplement this policy.
If this policy conflicts with the specific contract, the provision most specific and relevant to the project applies, subject to mandatory law.
Any payment constitutes acceptance of the quotation details, scope, cancellation and returns policy, payment stages, implementation or manufacturing conditions, and written notes in the invoice, contract or service page.
15. Requests and reports
For limited cases requiring review, the customer must contact Storm within the stated deadline and provide:
- Customer name.
- Order or invoice number.
- Mobile number.
- Service or product type.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photographs or video where required.
- The invoice or proof of payment.
- Relevant documents or approvals.

16. Policy updates
Storm may update this policy at any time to reflect its services, products and applicable laws.
The version published in the store when the order is completed applies, unless a written contract or mandatory law states otherwise.
