Storm Interiors & Furniture aims to provide clear, organised shipping and delivery procedures suited to its products and services. Much of our work involves bespoke furniture, ready-made products and large items requiring preparation, packing, transport, scheduling and, where applicable, installation or special delivery.
This policy explains customers' rights and responsibilities for shipping, delivery and receipt. It applies to all orders placed through Storm's store or approved sales channels.
It covers:
- Made-to-order furniture and furnishings.
- Ready-made products displayed in the store.
- Décor and accessories.
- Large, delicate or breakable products.
- Orders requiring special delivery, installation or scheduling.
- Orders delivered by Storm's team or external shipping, transport or delivery companies.
1. General provisions
By ordering and paying, the customer acknowledges reading and accepting this policy. Shipping and delivery may create immediate costs and operational commitments, including packing, reservations, transport, carrier coordination, scheduling delivery teams, loading, temporary storage or preparing products for collection.
Shipping, delivery, installation, transport and storage fees are non-refundable once performed or once their procedures begin, unless a direct error by Storm cannot be suitably remedied or mandatory law requires otherwise.
Shipping and delivery are operational procedures linked to the order. Concerns about shipping, delays or receipt do not automatically create a right to cancellation, a refund or replacement. Each case is handled according to its circumstances, Storm's returns, exchanges and refunds policy, and applicable Saudi Arabian law.
2. Delivery coverage
Storm delivers within Riyadh and other parts of Saudi Arabia according to availability, product type, order size and destination.
Delivery charges and times may vary with:
- The customer's city.
- Product size and weight.
- Product type and susceptibility to breakage or damage.
- Special packaging requirements.
- Special transport or a dedicated vehicle.
- Additional installation, lifting or loading.
- Difficulty accessing the site.
- Carrier or transport availability in the customer's area.
Storm is not obliged to deliver outside its service area unless confirmed in writing, on the product page, invoice or official communication channels.
3. Shipping and delivery schedules
Dates stated in the store, invoice or customer service messages are estimates. They are binding deadlines only where expressly stated in a written contract or quotation.
For ready-made products, the delivery period begins after order confirmation, full payment of amounts due and preparation for shipping.
For made-to-order furniture and furnishings, the delivery period begins after manufacture is completed and readiness for delivery confirmed, rather than simply on the payment date, unless the quotation or contract states otherwise.
Shipping and delivery schedules may be affected by operational or external factors, including:
- Delayed customer confirmation of information.
- Late payment of amounts due.
- Changes to dimensions, materials or address after ordering.
- An unprepared delivery site.
- Shipping or transport company delays.
- Seasonal or promotional demand.
- Road conditions, permits or residential complex requirements.
- Circumstances outside Storm's control.
Delays caused by the customer, incorrect information, an unprepared site or circumstances outside Storm's control do not justify cancellation, a refund or compensation.
Where a substantial delay is solely attributable to Storm after the agreed period ends, the case is handled under applicable law and according to the order's nature, prioritising rescheduling or the earliest possible delivery over cancellation or a refund.
4. Storm's shipping and delivery responsibilities
According to the order and agreed service scope, Storm undertakes to:
- Prepare the product or order appropriately for shipping.
- Hand it to the delivery team or approved carrier.
- Share tracking information where available.
- Coordinate a delivery appointment where necessary.
- Deliver to the registered or written-confirmed address.
- Exercise appropriate professional care with large or delicate products.
- Handle proven damage or delivery-error reports under this policy and the returns and exchanges policy.
Storm has no additional obligations absent from the invoice, quotation or product page, such as crane lifting, door removal, moving old furniture, long-term storage, rearranging the space, waste removal or special installation, unless expressly agreed and priced.
5. Customer responsibilities before delivery
The customer must supply accurate, complete information before shipping and delivery, including:
- Full name.
- A correct mobile number available for contact.
- A complete, precise address.
- City, district, street and building number where available.
- A map location where required.
- Floor, apartment or office number.
- Access, security or gate instructions.
- Restrictions imposed by the residential or commercial complex, tower or building.
The customer bears responsibility for delays, extra charges or failed delivery resulting from an incorrect address, unanswered calls, absence of an authorised receiver, an unclear location or restrictions not disclosed to Storm beforehand.
6. Delivery site readiness
Before delivery, the customer must ensure the site is ready and suitable for bringing in the product and installing it where applicable.
This includes:
- Sufficient space to bring the product inside.
- Unobstructed corridors.
- A usable lift or staircase.
- Door, entrance and corridor dimensions suitable for the product.
- Suitable parking or a loading and unloading point.
- Required building or complex management approvals.
- An authorised person to receive and sign.
- A ready placement area free of construction, cleaning or finishing work that obstructs delivery.
Inability to bring a product inside because of narrow doors, corridors, lifts or stairs, an unprepared site or building restrictions is not a product defect or an error by Storm. It does not entitle the customer to cancellation or a refund.
The customer bears additional redelivery, storage, transport, waiting, lifting, dismantling or alternative-solution costs in such cases.
7. Large products and furniture
Some Storm products, particularly furniture and furnishings, are large or require special handling during transport, access and installation.
The customer must check in advance that the product fits the site, building entrances, lift, stairs and corridors.
Where a made-to-order product follows customer-approved dimensions or specifications, inability to bring it inside or its unsuitability for the site because of customer-provided information or measurements does not justify cancellation, a return or exchange.
Unless agreed in writing, delivery excludes:
- Crane or specialist lifting equipment.
- Door removal or installation.
- Removal of old furniture.
- Moving products to unprepared floors or sites.
- Modifying the product on site.
- Electrical, plumbing or specialist wall-fixing work.
- Packaging or waste disposal.
- Rearranging furniture after delivery.
Where available, such additional services are priced separately and are not automatically included in shipping or delivery fees.
8. Receipt and signing
The customer or representative must inspect the product as far as possible on receipt and check its visible condition before signing or confirming receipt.
Signing, receiving, allowing entry or installation, or using the product constitutes initial acceptance of its visible condition unless a clear concern is recorded at receipt.
Visible damage, breakage or missing items must be noted immediately with the delivery team or carrier and reported directly to Storm through approved channels, with clear photographs or video.
Failure to note the issue at receipt or delayed reporting may lead to rejection if it is impossible to establish that damage existed before or during delivery.
9. Reporting deadlines
Visible delivery damage must be reported immediately on receipt, before use or movement to another location.
A product different from the order must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Missing accessories or parts must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
A visible manufacturing defect must be reported within 48 hours of receipt, supported by clear photographs or video.
Late reports may not be accepted if the product's condition on delivery cannot be verified, or if it has been used, installed, moved, modified or opened in a way that affects its original condition.
10. Damage during shipping
Where Storm or a Storm-approved carrier delivers the product and clear shipping damage is established before use, Storm reviews the case and chooses an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- Repairing the damaged part.
- Replacing only the damaged part.
- Sending a missing or damaged piece again.
- Appropriate compensation as determined by Storm and the case's circumstances.
- Replacing the product only where repair or another remedy is impossible and replacement is required in the circumstances.
The customer cannot demand an immediate refund where repair, partial replacement or a technical remedy is possible.
If the customer appoints their own carrier, representative or transporter, or requests handover to a third party, transport and handling responsibility passes to the customer or appointed party on handover. Storm is not responsible for subsequent damage, loss or delay.
11. Failure or refusal to receive an order
Absence at delivery, unanswered calls, an unprepared site or refusal without a valid, proven reason does not entitle the customer to cancellation or a refund.
Storm may take one or more of these actions:
- Reschedule delivery according to availability.
- Charge a redelivery fee.
- Charge waiting or additional transport fees.
- Charge storage fees where needed.
- Suspend delivery until additional amounts due are paid.
- Treat the delay as caused by the customer rather than Storm.
After readiness notification, late collection may incur storage charges based on product type, size and storage duration. Delivery is withheld until any amounts due are paid.
12. Storage after order readiness
Where an order is ready but the customer does not respond or requests postponement, Storm may hold it for a limited period according to available space and product type.
Storm is not responsible for customer-caused delays after readiness notification.
Storm may charge storage, rescheduling or operational costs arising from postponement, particularly for large furniture or products requiring specialist storage space.
Prolonged postponement or failure to respond may lead to appropriate legal measures to protect Storm's rights, including requesting additional costs or suspending delivery until amounts due are settled.
13. Shipping and delivery fees
Fees depend on city, order size, weight, product type and the required service.
Fees may appear on the order page or be confirmed after reviewing the address and product, particularly for large orders, furniture or specialist transport.
Shipping and delivery fees do not automatically include:
- Installation.
- Special lifting to upper floors.
- Storage.
- Redelivery.
- Door removal or reinstallation.
- Moving the product between multiple locations.
- Removal of old furniture.
- Waste disposal.
- Site preparation, maintenance or modification work.
Shipping or delivery fees are non-refundable once shipping procedures begin, the order is handed to a carrier or delivery is attempted, unless cancellation or error is solely attributable to Storm and a refund is required in the circumstances.
14. Partial deliveries
Depending on the order, availability and manufacturing readiness, Storm may deliver in multiple stages or shipments, particularly for projects, furniture orders and products comprising several pieces.
Partial delivery does not justify cancellation or a refund while the remainder is being prepared, manufactured or shipped within the estimated period or acceptable operational circumstances.
Each shipment or delivery stage is treated separately for receipt, inspection, concerns and signing.
15. Ready-made products
Ready-made products are prepared for shipping after payment confirmation and subject to availability.
Once preparation, carrier handover or delivery procedures begin, cancellation is not accepted because of a change of mind, no longer needing the product or an unsuitable colour or size choice.
Shipping or delivery claims are not accepted where the product has been used, installed, moved from the receipt location or damaged through customer misuse, storage or transport.
A proven wrong or damaged product before use is handled through Storm's chosen remedy, such as repair, partial replacement or sending the correct item. This does not automatically create a right to a full refund.
16. Made-to-order furniture and furnishings
Made-to-order furniture and furnishings follow customer-approved dimensions, materials, colours, designs or specifications.
Delivery occurs after manufacture, preparation, packing or initial assembly is completed, according to the item.
The customer cannot refuse receipt or request a return or exchange because of:
- A change of mind after manufacture.
- An unsuitable colour previously approved.
- Unsuitable dimensions previously approved.
- Slight colour variations caused by lighting or screens.
- Natural variations in wood, fabric, leather or stone.
- An unprepared site.
- Building restrictions preventing access.
- A request to change the design after manufacture is complete.
For a proven manufacturing defect, the primary remedy is repair, adjustment, technical correction or replacement of the damaged part rather than a refund.
17. Installation
Installation is included only where expressly stated on the product page, invoice, quotation or contract.
Where included, the site must be fully ready before the team arrives, with unobstructed access and working conditions.
If installation cannot proceed because the site is unprepared, finishing work remains underway, electricity or suitable space is unavailable, or obstacles exist, Storm may reschedule and charge visit, reinstallation or resulting additional costs.
Storm is not responsible for damage from customer or third-party interference after installation, or moving, dismantling or reinstalling the product through a party not approved by Storm.
18. Incorrect addresses and address changes
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address recorded in the order.
Address changes after preparation, carrier handover or scheduling may incur additional fees and affect the delivery date.
Storm is not responsible for delays or extra costs caused by an incorrect, incomplete or unclear address, or changes after shipping procedures begin.
19. Customer-caused delays
Delays are treated as customer-caused in these circumstances:
- Failure to answer calls or messages.
- No authorised receiver available.
- An unprepared site.
- Entry refused by building management or security.
- An incorrect address.
- Repeated changes to the delivery appointment.
- Late payment of amounts due.
- Changes to the product, address or delivery method after preparation.
- Insufficient space for access or installation.
These circumstances do not entitle the customer to cancellation, a refund or compensation for delay.
20. Force majeure and circumstances outside Storm's control
Storm is not responsible for delays or failed delivery due to circumstances outside its control, such as natural disasters, heavy rain, road closures, accidents, government decisions, carrier breakdowns, supply shortages, supplier delays, security conditions or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Delivery is rescheduled or an appropriate solution provided according to the case. No automatic refund or compensation arises.
21. Customer responsibility after receipt
After receipt, the customer must care for, use and store the product correctly.
Storm is not responsible for subsequent damage caused by:
- Misuse.
- Customer-arranged transport.
- Unsuitable storage.
- Exposure to moisture, heat, sunlight or liquids.
- Unsuitable cleaning products.
- Installation or dismantling by an unapproved party.
- Drops or impacts.
- Use inconsistent with the product's purpose.
Damage after receipt does not justify an exchange, return or refund.
22. Reports and claims
For shipping or delivery concerns, the customer must contact Storm within this policy's deadlines and provide:
- Customer name.
- Order or invoice number.
- Mobile number.
- Delivery address.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Clear photographs or video.
- A waybill or proof of receipt, where available.
- Concerns recorded at receipt.
Incomplete reports, late reports or reports without clear evidence will not be reviewed.
23. Limits of responsibility
Where a shipping or delivery error by Storm is proven, its responsibility is limited to an appropriate remedy selected through professional assessment, such as redelivery, repair, replacement of the affected part or a suitable alternative solution.
Storm is not responsible for indirect, consequential or estimated losses from delivery delays or rescheduling, including lost opportunities, interrupted use of the space, third-party costs or obligations not agreed in writing beforehand.
24. Relationship with the returns and exchanges policy
This policy concerns shipping and delivery rights and duties only. It does not independently grant a right to cancellation, returns or refunds.
Cancellation, returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by Storm's returns, exchanges and refunds policy, subject to mandatory Saudi Arabian law.
25. Contact channels
For shipping and delivery questions or reports, contact Storm through its approved channels:
- Website: interiordesign.com.sa
- WhatsApp: 00966115157292
- Email: info@interiordesign.com.sa

Reports are handled during official working days. Processing time varies with the case, carrier, city, product size and any required inspection, visit or internal review.
26. Policy updates
Storm may update this policy at any time to reflect its products, services, operational requirements and applicable laws.
The version published in the store when the order is completed applies, unless a written contract or mandatory law states otherwise.
